My Falafel Recipe

I think the world may benefit from my Falafel wrap recipe, so I am posting here. I don't exactly have the measurements correct as I usually eye ball it, so you will have to bear with me.

  • 1 box Falafel mix
  • Olive/Canola oil
  • 1 stalks of green onion
  • 1 stalks of fresh parsley
  • 2 tomatoes
  • A small jar of dill pickles
  • Tahini
  • All spice
  • Coriander
  • Large container of plain yogurt (tzatziki sauce can be substituted)
  • Either 16 wraps or 8 pitas
Follow the directions on the box of falafel for preparing the falafel mix. Once you have a mixing bowl full of uncooked falafel mix, scoop the falafel into a pot of hot olive/canola oil. Leave the falafel balls in the oil until they turn a light golden brown and move them over to a plate full of napkins. Set the falafel aside.

Cut the parsley and green onion into little pieces and set aside.

If you got pitas, either rip them in half so that you have two half circles (pita pockets), or remove the two outside pieces so that you have two (pitawraps) circles. Spread the tahini and sprinkle the coriander and all spice on each pocket/wrap. Put a slice of tomato and dill pickle in each pocket/wrap. Put about 1 - 3 falafel balls into each pocket/wrap. Then add a generous amount of scallions and parsley. At this point you may be stuffinf your pocket.

Lastly, add the plain yogurt or tzatziki sauce and enjoy! I usually only add the yogurt if I'm about the eat it. It's not good to store the wrap if it already has the sauce.

Matt Damon: Palin is Like a Really Bad Disney Movie

My respect for Matt Damon grows all the time. He just articulated what I've been feeling about Sarah Palin since she was chosen by McCain. I've often said I want to create the bumper sticker with the slogan "McCain - Token 08", because after all, that's all Palin really is, a token of gender distribution in the republican party.

Coolest Video Game Idea in a While

I think the best thing to come out of the Techcrunch 50 so far is atmosphir. Basically, atmosphir allows you to create your own levels in 3D video game. Think Mario series here. So, it would be like creating your own levels of a 3D Mario game. Up until now, as far as I know, video game content has been static. With atmosphir, this all changes. I can think of a gaming community based around atmosphir that challenges there peers to beet the newest, craziest level that was just created a few hours ago. I can see the same people bragging about how they just beat so and so's level in 5 minutes flat. Very interesting concept.

Here's a demo of the technology below.
